Mahar Schützenberger is a prestigious Price awarded every year since 1991 to young Indonesian researcher and student wh are working and finishing their Doctoral thesis in France.

Two last conducted researchs, current and future projects:
2009 to 2011, as a post-doctoral scientist in University of Aix Marseille: Organic Contaminant Flux :Soil-Water and Biocoenose Transfers.
2010-2012, as Principle Investigator: Bioremediation study of contaminated mangrove by persistence organic compounds and emerging pollutants in Segara Anakan Nature Reserve, Indonesia.
The current research project (2015-2017) emphasized on the "Occurrence, Fate and Impact of Macro- and Microplastic Ingested by Demersal Fishes from Cilacap Coastal and Segara Anakan Lagoon" with colaboration with Aix Marseille University.
For the perspectives, his upcoming project entitle " Oil Spill Combating using Encapsulated Culturable Marine Hidrocarbonoclastic Bacteria as Bioremediation Agent" and French-Indonesian Marine Pollution Studies will be his ambitious projects for next future time with his teams.
